Artist's Statement
" "
Randy Welborn has been an artist his entire life. His teacher's comments on his report card are proof. Throughout his life, Randy worked a normal job to make ends meet, then painted in his spare time. Then the painting took on a life of its own, and Randy began showing his artwork at local art galleries, flee markets, and mall art shows. Now with his website, Randy is "retired" from the normal job, and enjoys painting full-time. He sells high-quality photographic prints of acrylic paintings on his website which is easily found with any search engine... Some originals are also available. Speak to the artist for more info.

Classic Debut (The Gaylynn Theatre)

SIZE: 8.5x11 to 16x20
PRICE: $34.95 to 79.95
Description
The opening night program at the Gaylynn Theatre, Friday, November 18, 1949, boasted of everything from a "colorful and sparkling refreshment center" to a revolutionary "eye-level balcony". The Gaylynn Theatre started with one large screen. In its latter years, the owners added a second small screen where the balcony once was. Unfortunately, the theater could not compete with modern, multiplex cinemas and has been out of use for many years. It was demolished in August of 2002. Remember this theater in all its splendor.
