Last Concert
Last Concert is a cool little place in downtown Houston, located on Nance Street. It is not only serves Mexican food, but becomes a concert hall various times in the week and weekend. Local artist play to audiences and jam in informal sessions whenever there is time and located in some of the various connecting buildings they show art! I am located in the open air spaced building right by the patio.

Karen Derr and Associates have 4 offices spread around Houston and Galveston. I was lucky enough to get a few pieces into the museum district office with the help of Mitch Cohen, one of her employees and also owner of a site called www.artvalet.com. Mitch also organizes the monthly Yale Street arts Mkt in the Heights area of Houston and the huge once a year event called "White Linen Nights" that is is held in August in the same area. Karen Derr is the owner of Karen Derr and Associates.

Art Westport '08
Art Westport will again be held in Historic Westport. Westport will be celebrating its 175th Anniversary in 2008. With the changes that have been made to the event and with the addition of more advertising, we are looking forward to exceptionally large crowds with, visitors from across the mid-west for this year.
Art Westport is a three - day event and will run from Friday September 5 through Sunday September 7, 2008. Show hours are from 5pm until 9 pm Friday, Saturday 10 am until 9 pm and Sunday 11 am until 5 pm.
Approximately 120 artists will be invited to participate in Art Westport 2008.

A chance for art lovers and collectors to browse in studios of Ojai's artists at one of California's premiere art events. Thousands of art lovers return each year, lingering at their own pace through the working studios and visiting with Ojai's finest artists.
TOUR DATE: October 11 & 12, 2008, Saturday & Sunday, 10am to 5pm.
ARTISTS PALETTE RECEPTION: Meet the artists Saturday evening for a glass of champagne, enter the Silent Auction for member artwork and Raffle – proceeds benefit the Ojai Studio Artists Scholarship Fund.
Saturday, 6 to 8 PM at the Ojai Art Center, 113 S. Montgomery St., Ojai, CA.
TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets are $30 each and include Artists Palette Opening Reception. Children 12 and under are free.
