My art is a reflection of my life, perspective and each unique experience I
encounter. From the seemingly mundane piece of gum on an LA sidewalk to a
beautiful orange Martha's Vineyard sunset, I am constantly inspired to create.
Every painting is a challenge which stirs a unique sequence of emotions as I
work, emotions which are often expressed in the finished piece. Without an
organized strategy the process remains fresh and the experience more
immediate. I find inspiration in quick brush strokes, rendered marks and broken lines of charcoal next to rich, heavy strokes of paint. I broke my crayons as I child and still do.
