Token Tags™:

These Little charms are affirmations, dreams, mementos and keepsakes. Choose a word or favorite phrase and have one made just for you.

Sometimes, it’s hard to find the right thing to wear, much less the right words to say! Not anymore…with Token Tags you can make up anything imaginable and you’ll never be at loss for words. They are great little conversation pieces.

Do you have a favorite word or a nickname that you love? Why not keep it with you always? An affirmation of something you would like to bring into your life, why not wear them while focusing on that empowering energy? The possibilities are endless, since you are the creator of your own destiny, or at the very least you have the power over your own thoughts and words.

Elizabeth Lindsay grew up in Greenwich Village, New York, a haven for artists from different cultural backgrounds. This artistic community exposed her to the arts at a very early age. Elizabeth began her creative career in interior and architectural design while working as an interior designer for many years.

In 1989, she decided to pursue her life’s dream of designing jewelry, and enrolled in the jewelry design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in Manhattan. Graduating with top honors, Elizabeth received the coveted Studio Design Award of the Year.

Upon graduation, Elizabeth opened her own studio. Her love of art and history combined with her architectural background inspired her to create a series of work referred to as “Architectural Ornamental” jewelry. Each piece combines the strict discipline of architecture with an unconventional blend of designs, inspired by ancient and modern cultures. Elizabeth’s work is timeless. Elizabeth sold her work nationally for over ten years to such established stores as Nieman Marcus and The Museum of Modern Art in New York City. She was also honored with a Buyer’s Choice Award in 1994 for Modern Jeweler’s Magazine design competition.

An avid supporter of finding the cure for breast cancer, she designed the “Mary Cleves” Pin and Pendant for The Breast Cancer Fund in San Francisco, in honor of her mother when she was diagnosed with the disease, and donated 100% of the profits to The Breast Cancer Fund. She was also approached by, and chosen by, The Susan G. Koman for the cure, to design the Ten Year Commemorative Pin for the city of Denver.

In 1999 she relocated to Denver, Colorado, and opened her own retail store, “Elizabeth Lindsay Creations”, in the upscale shopping district of Cherry Creek North. She has designed several one-of-a-kind engagement rings as well as other rare pieces and continues to evolve as a designer, coming up with new designs often. Elizabeth loves having the one on one personal attention with her customers and is thrilled that she now gets to work with them directly. Her store not only carries her jewelry designs, it also carries merchandise from many creative, talented artists and designers. Her shop has become known for its rare and unique gifts and 5280 magazine has chosen Elizabeth Lindsay Creations as one of the best gift shops in the Denver metropolitan area.
