he Fall Tempe Festival of the Arts is among the oldest, largest, and best-loved traditions in the Desert Southwest. The show occurs in a festive urban street festival atmosphere in the Mill Avenue District of downtown Tempe, Arizona. Now in its 46th year, the Fall Festival has been named the Best Event in Arizona by the International Festival and Events Association, and received an Award of Merit from the International Downtown Association. It's fun for the whole family, too, with more than two dozen street entertainers located throughout the site, Kids Innovation Station where children make visual art they can take home free, the Arizona Wine Festival wine tasting gardens, The Art of Beer microbrewery gardens, and the Festival Stage featuring daily musical entertainment, and Chalk-A-Lot Street where chalk muralists create works of art.
