WHAT: NO BANDS. NO BEER. JUST ART. Named by Art Fair Insiders as among "America's 50 Best Art Fairs" 2015, 2014, and 2013! Consistently listed in top tier of Art Fair SourceBook rankings! (AND! Not the same weekend as Belleville IL 'Art on the Square'! They follow the moon! We follow the calendar! This year, the twain do not meet!) The Marion Arts Festival is regional, one-day, intimate and purposeful, with the mission to be an event through which you will thrive. (Here, we're obligated to insert that we're volunteer-driven, admittedly hokey and maybe a more than a little mom-and-pop). There are no bands, there is no beer...our festival is about the art (we do, however, cop to falafel). Don't hesitate to contact us for information and encouragement! WHERE: Marion, Iowa, is a "vintage uptown" type of community, and a part of the Cedar Rapids metro area in Eastern Iowa.
