The talented artists in Mélange of Milieu, examine, develop and play with the concepts and emotions that are at the root of human experience and understanding. Often tackling ideas that are with us from a young age, they produce work which has a universal appeal while also being filled with a very personal passion. The artwork in The Essence of Abstraction uses the familiar forms and techniques of abstract art as a starting point for sophisticated analysis and innovation, working with the potential embedded within their genre to produce an intricate and thoughtful reflection of the past, present and future. The exhibitions open on March 4, 2014 and run until March 25, 2014. The opening reception will take place on the evening of Thursday, March 6, 2014. Entrance is free and all art lovers are warmly encouraged to attend and enjoy these thought-provoking creations.
