In Evolving Abstraction, the featured artists reflect in their work the beauty and complexity of the world as they see it. By taking a step back to apply the lens of artistic vision rather than representational accuracy, the artists create works which are innovative in their quest to find the best tools and techniques to convey whatever ideas exist in the artists' minds. The exhibition, Figurative Realms, allows us access into the secrets of boundless life that underlie everything around us. Passionate and vivacious, each piece is filled with kinetic magic that is as exciting as it is intriguing. The viewer feels that anything could happen in the scenes depicted: that these scenes are so accessible, that they might be encountered in everyday life for those with the eyes to see them.

The most recent in the series of exhibits entitled New York City 2014: Synchronicity can be found upstairs from Agora Gallery’s main space. Displaying the work of artists who are familiar with New York City as both a center of the art world and a source of inspiration, the show allows them to present the results of their artistic development. Examining the works, the viewer will be left with no doubt that these artists have spent their time in the best possible way.

The exhibitions open on June 10, 2014 and run until July 1, 2014. The opening reception takes place on the evening of Thursday June 12, at 6-8pm. Entrance is free and art-lovers are enthusiastically encouraged to attend.
