Leon Zobel will receive the "TOSCAR" award from the "Exploring TOSCA" magazine at a special TOSCAR awards evening event in downtown Minneapolis at the Nina Bliese Art Gallery on Oct 13, 2011. Awards will be for Theatre, Opera, Shakespeare, Cultural and the Arts..... check it out at www.tctosca.com and www.ninabliesegallery.com. Fall 2009, I was the cover and featured artist of the magazine and the cover and featured artist in the 2011 TOSCA calendar. Award winning mezzo-soprano Alyssa Anderson will be singing, and Peggy Burnett will be the featured speaker. She is on the Board of Trustees for the Smithsonian and a Trustee of the Hirschorn Art Museum, Washington DC. Be sure and check it all out. My art is at www.leonzobelartgallery.com
